Tuesday, December 19th, 2000 marked the beginning of<br \/>this commission. That Tuesday night service had 53 persons in attendance and was held at the residence of the visionary, Apostle Dave Heman-Ackah.<\/p><p>Within her first year of existence, the church acquired a 7.5 acre property in a<br \/>choice location in the city debt free. A feat that was truly a wonder to many and<br \/>indicative of God\u2019s finger at work in the ministry.<br \/>Over the years, by the leading and help of the Lord, the ministry has experienced<br \/>landmark growth and accomplishment.<br \/>These notwithstanding, our greatest asset is people and guiding them on the<br \/>path to a glorious destiny fulfillment. We are a family of men and women<br \/>passionate about the kingdom of God having a resolve to impact our world by<br \/>turning it God-ward.<br \/>In RCA everyone is not only special but treated specially too because we see<br \/>ourselves as heaven\u2019s extension. Our excitement comes from letting the world<br \/>see heaven in our eyes, in our touch, our words and deeds.<\/p><p>We are not just another church; we are a select group of men and women connected by He has<br \/>devoted his entire life to the propagation of the gospel since God<br \/>snatched him out of his childhood goals of becoming a politician<br \/>and a statesman.<\/p><p>Apostle Dave is a prolific bible scholar with astounding revelations<br \/>on the most confusing subject that most preachers prefer to avoid \u2013<br \/>The End time. His bold confrontation on the recklessness and sordid<br \/>compromise in pulpits across the land is not only heart warming but<br \/>comforting in an age that scripture rightly predicts that folks will not<br \/>endure sound doctrine.<\/p><p>So exemplary is his way of life, especially his humility that countless<br \/>upcoming preachers desire to be under his spiritual covering and<br \/>mentorship.<br \/>He is happily married to Pastor Rhoda Heman-Ackah who co-pastors<br \/>with him and they are blessed with three grown children and a It provides a platform for interaction and building mutually rewarding relationships across, spiritual, social and economic lines. Their meetings are held at the Discipleship Forums (DFs) and general meetings involving all men in the church are held monthly at the Champions Cathedral. In such meetings, issues ranging from politics, entrepreneurship, marriage\/relationships, health &amp; wellness, parenting etc. are discussed from a scriptural perspective and with DESTINY in mind. They meet across the DFs and combined meetings are held monthly at the church auditorium. It provides a unique platform for bonding and a conducive atmosphere for women to come out of their shelf and be heard. In RCA women are never relegated to the background as we believe in the ministry and calling of women. The goal is to position women in their quest for DESTINY fulfilment. Issues involving the general health; spiritual, emotional, psychological, economical of the women, balancing career and family, marital dynamics are discussed and opportunity for mentorship among the women abound. They meet regularly and also have a Syndicated teens church that holds for an hour every Sunday before the teens re-join the main service. they also hold a monthly mega service and have the acclaimed annual teens camp meeting. Their curriculum is a full package targeting their educational and spiritual development. Most of the teenagers are abreast with basic contemporary technologies and skills as they are spurred to get such literacy to effectively compete and be relevant in the age they live in. They involve in extra curricular activities and social interventions like visiting old peoples homes and orphanages, food distribution in the inner city. they have undertaken the painting and giving of facelift to public facilities like the state owned broadcasting outfit and a nearby Police station.
